LADY WHITE SNAKE:

The legend of White Snake is one of the most popular stories in the history of China, with countless versions in folklore, literature, and drama. Connected to Hangzhou’s West Lake, the story is understood to have originated as early as 618 AD. 700 years later, the tale first saw its literary versions borrowed from professional storytellers in the streets of Hangzhou. It later showcased its first stage performance in the late fourteenth century and is well known today as one of the most often performed plays in Chinese opera.

GAME has had the honor of working with the Chinese government to bring The Legend of Lady White Snake back to life once again. Touted as the largest show of its kind in Mainland China, this multimedia spectacular featured over 100 live dancers, a mechanical water stage, powerful fountains, lights, lasers, and two 150 ft water screens depicting magical fight scenes told throughout the story.

This extraordinary production took over a year to develop from concept to completion and has been granted by the Themed Entertainment Association the Award for Outstanding Achievement for Event Spectaculars.
